A stainless steel impeller improves performance and resists the harsh, abrasive debris that can be sucked into the JET pump, extending life and reliability.

A powerful alternator – 18 amps on 35 and 40 hp models helps keep batteries charged and onboard electronics running all day long.
The Mercury FourStroke 40 Jet engine has a power unit from the Mercury 60HP engine, combined with the JET drive, providing a power output of 40HP.
